Starting head to toe we will explore the most prominent trends in the alternative subculture of 2011!!! Hair:   Many spiced up their solid colored locks to an ombre effect, a subtle yet fierce trend in the community. Face: Dark pouting lips and rockin' Ray-Ban faux or legit were hot in the alternative scene 2011 and is a fad that won't be fading a away very soon. We saw lips an assortment of dark ...

Yesterday's Silhouette

Calling all lovers of the thingamajigs, doohickeys and whatnots of yesteryear! Here you’ll find a shop that is delighted to bring to you some of the very finest, oddest and most interesting vintage finds that Etsy has to offer. This is a place where old school elegance is appreciated, and items rich in history are relished. As a collective, the trinkets and treasures of this shop aim to illuminate a figure of times past, thus creating what I like to refer to as, Yesterday’s Silhouette.  We've got a little bit of everything to offer when it comes to vintage awesomeness: fine antiques and collectibles, vintage costume jewelry, fashion and accessories, rare books and ephemera, home decor and much more! This shop supports reducing, reusing and recycling in the effort to prevent needless waste. We are doing our part to contribute to a greener planet by using recycled packing materials whenever possible!     Make sure to follow Yesterday's Silhouette on Facebook...

Hey, I am Jess from LWIG:LOOK WHAT I GOT! . My blog is my little get-away where I express my passion for fashion and beauty through my outfit and make up looks. Last year, my new year's resolution was to not to be afraid, and to push myself outside my boundaries. I think I achieved this resolution in many ways because for one I started my blog. It might be sound over dramatic but my blog has really changed my life, as it has re-ignited in a passion that I thought I had lost, so it was one of the best decisions I made last year. I spent 9 months of the year applying for internships, getting rejected from many of them and finally getting one in the Summer. This was a frustrating experience, but I'm glad I stuck it out. I also made a special effort to spend more time wi...
