A Cheap Alternative to Those Expensive Hair Masks
Hair masks can really help improve the overall health of your hair, but why do they have to cost so much? Hot olive oil hair treatments can give you the same results at a much cheaper price. This is a super fun, easy, cheap, and relaxing project. The compliments you'll get will be even better!
Things you'll need:
Several tablespoons of olive oil (depending on the length of your hair)
Hair or shower cap (optional)
Steps:
1. Heat up the olive oil in a mug or other microwave safe dish
2. Take small handfuls of olive oil and massage into your hair and scalp
3. Put on your shower cap
4. Leave in for at least 30 minutes
5. Shampoo and rinse well (you can condition as well if you want)
6. Prepare for amazingly soft hair!

Oh, yeah...this works totally great! If you have a flaky scalp you should do a vinegar rinse before you shampoo and do the mask.

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and following my blog about sewing & pattern making Adithis Amma Sews
Hey Adithis,
ReplyDeleteIf you have dandruff, I would suggest this recipe:
2 egg yolks(beaten well)
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup olive oil
but, you don't want to heat up this recipe. Hope that helps :D!

ReplyDeleteOpal... This is a great tip... Guess I can try this on my own rather than spending money on expensive treatments...!!!
ReplyDeleteThis works wonders! We used to put olive oil in a ziploc and set it in hot water to warm up. After the oil is warm, you can snip off an end of the baggy and use this to dispense on your hair.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip! I will certainly try it out. Thanks for visiting my site. I am your newest follower on google.
