Onesta Hair Care Line Review

I was super excited to try out some of the products from Onesta's hair care line. All of their products are natural, plant-based formulas that are free of: parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium laureth sulfate, propylene glycol, DEA, TEA, colors, dyes, animal ingredients, and animal testing. The quality of Onesta's products is amazing and I've fallen in love with all of the products that I have tried. Here's a little more information and thoughts I have on some of their products:

Hydrating Shampoo: This shampoo "contains certified organic extracts of Honey, Sage, and White Willow. These moisture-rich extracts are known for their ability to repair and revitalize dry, damaged hair." A great thing about Onesta  products is that they are safe on colored hair and they don't contain sodium laureth sulfate or sodium lauryl sulfate. Sodium laureth sulfate and sodium lauryl sulfate can be very bad for your hair and studies have shown that they can corrode the hair follicle, inhibit hair growth, and even cause or speed up hair loss. I really liked the smell of this shampoo and it did a really good job at cleansing my hair. 

Moisture-Balancing Conditioner: This product "nourishes dry, damaged hair with certified organic extracts of Aloe Vera, Nettle, and Thyme. These extracts work together to repair and moisturize dry, damaged hair without weighing it down." And it did just that - this conditioner left my hair smelling amazing and super soft and bouncy. 

Super Conditioner: This conditioner uses the same ingredients as the Moisture-Balancing Conditioner, but with some sunflower oil, panthenol, and soy protein to give it an extra boost. 
This left my hair so super smooth and my fingers just glide through my hair now.

Smooth & Shine Thermal Straightening Crème: This product "provides a smooth, soft feel to the hair, delivers optimal shine, and tames frizz for use with heat styling. With a natural polymer that provides improved humidity resistance, Smooth & Shine also improves flexibility and manageability. Certified organic extracts of Green Tea and Milk Thistle, both rich in antioxidants, protect hair and add shine, while Rhatany Root helps reduce color fading by absorbing UV light." I applied this to damp hair and it definitely calmed the frizzies and gave my hair a nice shine. I really love this product!
